Explore SF State introduces new Gators to their University community April 22
Newly admitted students and their families can tour campus and learn about majors, housing, clubs, financial aid and more
San Francisco State University will welcome thousands of newly admitted students and their families for a day of introductions, information and fun Saturday, April 22. Running from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Explore SF State will feature campus tours, a student life showcase and presentations on San Francisco State academics, programs and organizations.
“We know newly admitted students are excited but probably a little daunted by the college experience ahead,” said Senior Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Katie Lynch. “That’s why Explore SF State exists. It’s our chance to welcome new students and their families and make sure they know about all the opportunities and support available on our campus.”
Highlights of the day will include tours led by current students, workshops on financial aid, expert guidance on next steps for the admissions process and the chance to talk with alumni, faculty and staff about the SF State experience.
