Summer session offers more than 600 classes

Students can choose from more than 600 classes offered during the University's summer session. This special session is an opportunity for current students to get ahead with their studies and for prospective students and members of the public to earn academic credit.

Students can earn up to 14 units of academic credit. Classes will be available in four sessions: June 10 – July 12, June 24 – Aug. 16, July 15 – Aug. 16 and June 10 – Aug. 16.

Priority registration begins April 8 and ends April 12. Admitted students may find out their priority registration time period at the SF State Gateway beginning March 20. Regular registration for summer session opens on April 15.

Students must register and pay for summer session classes through SF State's College of Extended Learning. Financial aid is available but is limited. For more information visit
