The game will tip off at 7 p.m. in the main gymnasium. The winner will advance to the CCAA semifinal round Friday in Ontario, Calif.

Tickets are $8 for general admission, $5 for students with I.D. and $2 for seniors and children under 12. To encourage students to pack the gym and show their Gator spirit, the first 300 students with I.D. will get in for free. In addition, students wearing purple and gold will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate.

The Gators finished the 2012-13 regular season with a 15-11 record, 13-9 in the CCAA. The Golden Eagles of Cal State L.A. finished with a 16-10 record, 13-9 in the CCAA. The two teams split their head-to-head meetings this year. SF State won the tiebreaker and right to host a playoff game by virtue of its victory over first-place Cal Poly Pomona on Feb. 22.

The winner of the CCAA championship receives an automatic spot in the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship.

The women's basketball team will also open the CCAA playoffs on Tuesday with a game at Chico State. Tipoff for that game is 5:30 p.m.
