Appropriate Administrators Begin Planning

Although campus life may look different, our commitment to our students, faculty and staff remains consistent. We look forward to welcoming our Gator community back on campus, with health and safety protocols shaped by San Francisco public health guidelines.

The below guidance focuses on appropriate administrators and staff, who are anticipated to return to in-person/hybrid work during Summer 2021. As fall planning is finalized, more guidance will be provided for faculty and students, who are anticipated to return to in-person/hybrid instruction for fall 2021.

  • In-person services that need to be provided to the campus
  • Workspace capacity per San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) guidelines​

Below are the currently established plans for now through summer. We will receive updates from SFDPH and CalOSHA through June and July that may change these plans.

We recommend starting the planning process at least a month before your department/unit is expected to return to campus.

  • For departments/units returning to campus in July, appropriate administrators should submit their plans by June 25.
  • For departments/units returning to campus in August, appropriate administrators should submit their plans by July 16.
