Seeking Feedback on the Draft Strategic Plan

Dear colleague,

For the past year the Strategic Planning Coordinating Committee (SPCC) has been engaging students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends to learn what you value most about SF State and how we can make it a better place. We are grateful for the broad based, enthusiastic participation that many of you have provided to the effort and we are excited to move into the next phase of the planning process.

The SPCC has worked hard to analyze the tremendous feedback that we have received. In June, they posted reports in each of the initial theme areas. Those reports and the additional feedback they elicited formed the basis of a draft strategic plan. That draft plan is now posted at planning.sfsu.edu for your review.  We want to highlight the word "draft" to let you know that we are eager to get your reactions, comments and suggestions so that the final plan is a roadmap to SF State's future that we can all embrace.

The Academic Senate and the SPCC are hosting faculty, staff, students and the SF State community at the Make Your Mark event to discuss the draft University strategic plan in the newly renovated gym from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21. You can also post feedback at planning.sfsu.edu or email it to planning@sfsu.edu. We hope you can take a few minutes to review the draft plan and we look forward to hearing from you.
