Media Advisory: More than 6,000 expected at SF State's Sneak Preview on April 4

Annual event provides admitted and prospective students overview of academic and student life

 

SAN FRANCISCO, April 1, 2015 -- San Francisco State University will host more than 6,000 visitors, including undergraduate students admitted for the fall 2015 semester and their families, as part of its annual Sneak Preview open house on Saturday, April 4.

Students and families will be able to take tours of the campus, the J. Paul Leonard Library, and virtual tours of the residence halls; receive information about financial aid; and accept their admission offer. More than 100 academic departments and campus organizations will provide information in the quad. An academic showcase highlighting various University departments and programs will also take place across campus throughout the day.

The free event is open to first-time freshmen and transfer students admitted for fall 2015, high school students planning for college and their family and friends. SF State expects to enroll approximately 3,900 new freshmen and 3,800 new transfer students for the 2015-16 academic year.
