Notification of Availability of Emergency Operations Plan

The University developed its Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) to ensure the most effective and efficient response to emergencies or disasters that may affect the University community. This plan has been developed to reduce the potential impacts of an emergency or disaster on the University, with the response priorities of saving lives, protecting property, and safeguarding the environment. This plan establishes the emergency organization, assigns tasks, specifies policies and general procedures, and provides for coordination of efforts of the various emergency staff and service elements utilizing the California Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Incident Management System (NIMS).

SF State has just completed a formal review of its Emergency Operations Plan.  The EOP has been updated and posted on the Office of Emergency Services website.
