More than 35,000 graduates, family members and friends expected to attend ceremony

Save the date, graduating Gators: San Francisco State University’s Commencement will return to AT&T Park on Thursday, May 25, 2017.

More than 35,000 graduates, family members and friends are expected to be on hand for the ceremony, which is being held at the downtown ballpark for the third year. Last year, 7,200 SF State students received their degrees during the ceremony, during which SF State alum and Pixar producer Jonas Rivera urged them to “make great things.”

More information about the ceremony can be found at commencement.sfsu.edu, and the site will be updated throughout the spring semester as additional information becomes available.
